ABOUT US

I, Dr. Frank J. Ostir, would like to take this opportunity to welcome you, and thank you for choosing Ostir Chiropractic Clinic for your health care needs. My main objective is to give my patients the best quality of care and a pleasant environment, by using the highest quality equipment and latest treatment protocols.

Dr. Ostir is a graduate of Joliet West High School. He did his undergraduate work at Eastern Illinois University and Joliet Junior College. In December of 1988 he received a B.S. degree in Science and Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.

Upon graduation, he practiced in Nashville, Tennessee. At the end of his associateship he decided to return to his hometown of Joliet. He opened Ostir Chiropractic in 1990. Since then Ostir Chiropractic has grown to its third location and has become a full chiropractic and rehabilitation clinic focusing on advanced techniques and cutting edge technology.

Dr. Ostir is currently licensed in Illinois and has had past licensure in Missouri and Tennessee. He is National Board certified for parts 1, 2, and 3, and is continually taking seminars and to keep up with advancing techniques and for license requirements. He is certified in Activator and Logan Basic techniques. He is also proficient at Cox and Diversified techniques.

Dr. Ostir is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Joliet Chamber of Commerce. He has ben active in community service for the last 10 years including food drives and support for the Morning Star Mission. He also coaches high school varsity wrestling. Some of his other hobbies include water sports and weight lifting.

Dr. Beal is new to the Joliet area. He was born and raised in Roseville, California, just minutes from the capital of Sacramento. He is a graduate of Roseville High School and did all of his undergraduate schooling at Sierra College in Rocklin, California and New College of California in San Francisco. In June of 1996 he obtained his Bachelor's degree and Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Beal has recently obtained a Master's degree in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

After graduation he moved back to California and practiced in Sacramento Valley. He recently moved to Illinois to be closer to his wife's family, at which time began practicing at Ostir Chiropractic.

Dr. Beal is Illinois and California licensed and is Nationally Board certified for parts 1-4. He is continually taking continuing education seminars to stay up to date with the ever changing health care field. He is proficient at Activator, Diversified, Thompson, and Toggle Recoil techniques.

Dr. Beal is a former member of the California Chiropractic's Association. He served on the board for the Sacramento Valley District for 2 years and also served as the Vice-President of Internal Affairs for 1 year. He also received the "Outstanding New Chiropractor of the Year Award" in 1998. Dr. Beal was also a member of a Sacramento business group. He served as Vice-President for 1 term and President for 2 terms. He also received "The Leader of the Yea Award" from the same group. He was very active in the Roseville and Stockton Chamber of Commerce and is becoming involved in the Joliet area. Dr. Beal is also a Adjunct Faculty member at Joliect Junior College.
